The Tsirides Family



Angelos & Emily Tsirides

Angelos Tsirides was born in Limassol in 1945. His father was involved in perishable trading and his mother was a housewife. He has two older brothers, Nikos who lives with his family in Athens and Costas (Dinos) who is a retired lawyer and lives with his family in Limassol.

 

Angelos Tsirides had 3 daughters from his first marriage, Artemis, Roxanne and Castalia. Artemis works with him at Tsircon Company, which he created in 1979. Tsircon Company is engaged in manufacturing and trading of specialized materials used in Construction industry. Roxanne and Castalia currently residing abroad with her husband and her fiancé, respectively. Artemis gave him a grandson, Angelo and Roxanne a granddaughter, Danae.

 

With his second wife, Emily, they work together at the Tsircon Company. They collaborate in all activities including collections of antiquities, fossils and minerals since 1985, year which Emily was hired by the Tsircon Company. With love, devotion and affection, and with the sacrifice of their free time, were able to collect these precious treasures. Their vision was to create the "Tsirides Foundation" and thus the creation of the Cyprus Museum of World Natural History where to house these findings in a way that is an educational institution but also attracts foreigners and locals who would like to visit.
